It’s been a while since I’ve posted a bento. One reason is that bentos were taking over the site and I’ve started building a new one just for them but I’m not done yet. horrible crappy lazy drawing. poor bear, he deserves to be drawn better. it’s not even that i was in a hurry, i just can’t draw tonight. it just ain’t happening. some days are like that.

finally got my nike+ pod at the urging of friends so I can upload my workouts.

stupid mini! it says it wants a run but i just WENT for a run. maybe it will be happier after a few workouts.

if you have an ipod nano or touch and wanna join me in workouts, Get the gear! You’ll need the pod and either Nike+ shoes or one of those nifty little pouches to attach it to the shoes you already have.

i am LOVING my gym, there’s never more than 3 or 4 people there. never thought i’d be a gym rat, but i dig it.

once again I waited until the last minute, and this is what popped into my head. sometimes i wish Colors! had undo (or crop, or move), but I suppose living without it makes me learn to be more confident with what I’m doing. I wish I would have smoothed out that rough tip on the wing on the left, but it’s one of those things I don’t see until I see it full size on the computer. Hard to see sometimes on that tiny screen.

It’s been a while since I’ve posted any real attempts at artwork.  Colors! paintings don’t count, not because Colors! isn’t a real app, but because those are more of an attempt just to make myself do some kind of art. Sometimes I get that icky “there’s no way I’ll ever have enough time to devote to being good, so whatever I produce is going to be crap” feeling. It’s horrible. I want to paint, need it so much it’s a physical feeling, but something stops me from starting.

That’s where WTCFF comes in. Thank God I have him around to believe in me. I tell him I’m in a slump, and he plays coach and cheerleader. He reminds me that I paint because I love it, and he gives me an assignment. And he follows up to make sure I’m doing it When I told him I was stuck again, he gave me this assignment: Ender’s Game.
