Sushi, Shrimp and Inari Bento

Tomorrow’s lunch is another help from the grocery store lunch. I know, I keep cheating. But it makes my life easier, and right now that’s good. Plus I was dying for inari the other day so I stopped and picked some up.
I know it sounds crazy and I think I’ve mentioned it before but the little old lady at the sushi counter at my grocery store makes the BEST inari. She’ll make it up fresh if I ask. I didn’t actually make anything in this lunch, I just tossed it all in the box. I tried to make a little tomato flower but it turned out more like a starfish, which is sort of appropriate since this lunch has a bunch of seafood.
on the menu:
- California rolls (imitation crabmeat, cucumber, avocado wrapped in nori and sushi rice)
- Salad shrimp
- Inari (that’s the brown things – sushi rice in pockets of fried bean curd skin. learn more about inari here)
- Sugar snap peas
- Cherry tomatoes
