Feed My Starving Children - Today's Breakdown
Today my coworkers and I enjoyed an afternoon outing to Feed My Starving Children. Feed My Starving Children is a non-profit Christian organization committed to feeding God’s starving children hungry in body and spirit. The approach is simple: children and adults hand-pack meals formulated specially for starving children, and they ship the meals to more than 60 countries around the world.
In an hour and a half, we packed 57 boxes of food. Those boxes will provide 12,312 meals, enough to feed 34 children for a year. It was a humbling experience that really put life in perspective. And we had a lot of fun too. I hope to do it again soon. It’s a great place for your family, team, employees to enjoy some teamwork and fun while helping out those who really need it.
